Giveaway: Burlesque

Never fear, I have more to tweet from the Hamish and Andy Thank You Tour show in Brisbane. I know you want details, hence the flood of comments on my first post.

Not.

PLEASE comment. It takes but a minute and if I get a lot of comments, then I can go to Hamish and Andy's people and ask for their DVD to giveaway or something. I love that a lot of you lurk, but if I'm to get this blog into something that will deliver freebies every week, I need evidence that people actually stop by occasionally and read my crap. To show social-media organisations so they can give me fab giveaways for my followers and/or commenters. So please, take a minute to say something, and then I can get you prizes people!

Aussie companies have been really slow to warm to twitter and blogging and I am trying to show them that it's a powerful medium.

Not so, Sony Pictures Australia. These wonderful peeps are handing over some double in-season passes to the cool new flick Burlesque.

Starring Cher and Christina Aguilera, you can find out more and see the trailer at http://www.facebook.com/BurlesqueAUS

To enter, simply leave a comment below.

Good luck!

I don't always do as I'm told but in this case I will. Go, go for the freebies. See if you can get one for ex-pats, too!

This movie looks so goddamn tacky it must be wonderful! I would love a pass to see Cher in a movie again. I heard Kristin Bell steals it though...

I do love a bit of Cher, a smidgen of sparkle and a smattering of song - so Burlesque sounds right up my alley! Bless your socks x

Hey, I noticed that comments I've left on the last two posts haven't appeared - not sure if gremlins are stealing them away or not... Will check back to make sure that this one's okay.

Oh I hear ya re the no comment thing!
Try my best to be witty and entertaining and NADA!!

So, I'm making more of an effort to leave comments lately - despite how lame they may be!

Cher & Christina in a movie together? Hmmmmmm.....

But ya know what? I don't care - because if I have free tickets, that may actually mean I have a fantastic excuse to get out of the house and leave the kids with the hubby! Woo hoo!

I totally understand where you are comming from in relation to the no comments left on blogs.

Some blogs I comment on they don't even comment on me so come the new year if they haven't started, wont be commenting on theirs.

(((( Hugs ))))

Thank you ladies.
Thanks for the feedback re the comments not working! That is frustrating because I've had that happen too!
And yes, I try to comment at least a few times on blogs of people who comment on mine. Abot 60 per cent of people return the favour, but I'm amazed by those who don't.
But I understand that there are lurkers, whom I love, who may be wary of commenting and that is fine.
It's just that I am trying to set up my blogs to get regular giveaways and need to prove I am awesome.
Thank you all, I love you xo

Bronnie, can't you just show them your stats? Comments only show a very small percentage of readers. If you tell them your stats (through google analytics) then that might help?

You guys rock! And if for some reason I haven't commented on your blogs lately, let me know. Like you, sometimes I comment and it disappears at the last minute. I always make a point to visit the blogs of my commenters/followers and comment there as well. Have discovered some lovely bloggers that way, and won't be offended if you give me a 'Whassupp?'
And Lorraine, you are a Goddess. Yes I will do that ... I bow at your awesomeness!

A trip to the movies sounds great. It has been so long since I have been. The chance to win giveaway tickets... even better :-)

I must admit, sometimes I don't leave comments because I am time poor and I am trying madly to catch up on everyone's blog posts. If only I could squeeze another five or so hours into every day, they could be my blog-hours *Sigh*. But look *waves* I am here, and I am saying hello, and I think going to the movies is ace, as is the word 'ace', which I really think should make a come-back :)

Heehee, glad my guilt trip worked. You are all very good blog readers. I have been back and commented on everyone's blog I think ... and if I haven't tell me, and I will go back and do it again (because it doesn't always work first time round)

Sounds great :) Though not sure if Tom would enjoy it (being Cher and all!) but will definitely take mum along :) xx
