Skylanders get spooky!

Who loves Skylanders?
We do!
In fact,  I don't know any child who doesn't love them. And there are quite a few big kids who collect them too!
My kids love Skylanders because when their friends come to visit - and vice versa - they can bring their favourite characters, and they can all play together on the same console.
Skylanders are great friends with MIA, and to celebrate the spooky season they are offering a lucky reader a Halloween-themed Skylanders goodie pack!
In the pack, you'll find a special Halloween 2013 Limited Edition Eye Brawl. He's so special, you can't even buy him in Australia!
He's from the Skylanders Giants Game.
But the great news is, in the spirit of Skylanders, you can use him in the brand new Skylanders SWAP Force game. Don't have one? That's okay, because you'll find your own copy of this brilliant game in your goodie pack!
The Skylanders peeps are also including a Skylanders character costume to get you covered for trick or treating, 3 Halloween-themed activity pages, and a few delicious treats.
As usual, all the characters from the previous game will work on the new Skylanders SWAP Force game - in fact, they work better, because they have new powers like jumping.
Skylanders SWAP Force will be on everyone's Santa wish list this year.
To win this fantastic pack, just leave a comment below to say if you'll be breaking into the Skylanders SWAP Force game or saving it up for Christmas. The competition closes at 5 pm on October 27, 2013.

The competition has ended and the winner was Gemmie Alliston. Gemmie please message me with your contact details so we can send out your prize.

Your gift pack will look a little like this - but with just one Eye Brawl

The must-have Skylanders SWAP Force Game. The Skylanders peeps know kids so well, they will send the winner one which will match the console you have at home.

A closer look at the Limited Edition Eye Brawl.

Disclosure: Skylanders have also offered MIA a Skylanders gift pack for hosting this giveaway. I wonder who will be making use of it?

We are getting our girls Skylanders for Christmas, I can't wait to see their excited faces. A little extra SWAP force action would be so awesome :)

With 4 of my 6 young kids being boys, there would be some serious excitement if those Skylanders were to land at our place! And while the boys enjoyed themselves, baby could play with the boxes!

Skylanders Swap Force is on my son's Christmas Wish List. He has been hounding me for months about it and constantly reminding me of when it was to launch.
I think it's safe to say that if we won, we would be popping it away for Christmas. However it would be very hard not to crack it open and sneak a play with the awesomeness that is Skylanders Swap Force. Crossing everything to win this one. :D

Both Mr's 11 and 8 love Skylanders. We have the last two series, now they want this one. I'd be waiting for Christmas, as it will take some of the $$ pressure off it for me.

Miss 9 and Master 6 will be hopefully getting a xbox for Christmas off Santa.
It has been on the wish list for two years now.
Master 6 is crazy about skylanders has shirts bed spread and a couple of fluffy toys. but with no game box to play the games is yet to start collecting the skylander figures.
This prize pack would be a awesome start to the collection for the children.fingers toes legs arms etc etc all crossed

Depends on the nagging! It's already at a 10/10 to buy it - everytime we walk past at the shops we nearly have WW 2!

My kids have their lists all ready, they ask Santa for their most special present, so I am hoping that if they are good he will bring them an awesome Skylanders game! I'm not a gamer myself, but Skylanders are pretty awesome, I still can't quite figure out how they work!!

After not knowing what the hell Skylanders were for two years, I've finally had to get with the program! I've got four figures and a Skylanders book hiding in my Christmas cupboard waiting for Santa. We don't yet have a console, but I'm sure we're building up to one. It would be fabulous to add the prize back to the Christmas booty I've got stowed.

This is high on my sons Christmas list, so it will be put away for Santa to give. Seriously, it is only 6 weeks away, so I think we can wait.
Ahhh, but that excited smile, can I wait?

This would be a Christmas gift, Christmas is only 4 pays away for us. 4 pays! Who invented pay cycles - really!

I would show it to my girls BUT they wouldn't be allowed to play with it until they earned it! Sounds harsh, but I am trying to get my girls to start picking up after themselves, and just being kind to each other, etc. We have a star chart, and the girls are usually treated to something when they reach a 'milestone star'. Maybe this could be the treat for when they reach 100 stars!(They are over halfway there already.) It would really give them something to aim for! Thanks so much for the opportunity.

Saving it for Christmas, that's if I hide it from my husband in time!!!!

THIS SORTS OF DEPENDS ON WHETHER I CAN GET THE PARCEL INTO THE HOUSE WITHOUT MY BOYS SEEING. IF THAT'S THE CASE, THEN CHRISTMAS IT WILL BE. OTHERWISE, I'M PRETTY SURE THEY'LL BE BEGGING ME TO OPEN IT THEN AND THERE!!

If I waited til christmas the kids would rampage!
It looks so fun I cannot lie
We'd crack it open and give it a try ;)

As much as I'd like to give it to him early, I'd save this up for my son for Christmas.

Elise Ellabban said...

This family would be saving it!
We are just too obsessed you see,
Skylanders has to be for breaks,
We'd play all day, the kids (and me!).

I love the anticipation and excitement Christmas brings - my son has already started on his list (with Skylanders highly rated) and besides we will be well into the school holidays by then and a happy, satisfied son means a happy unharassed mum!

with three Skylanders fans at home, there is no chance that we can save this pack for Christmas. It will be opened right at the door once the postman delivers it..

Wow I had no idea who the Skylanders were. I have to look them up! :P

Considering that Santa only comes once a year, and I'm no money tree - these Skylanders will be going under the Christmas tree. If I win, I can cross it off the wish list ;)

BREAKING INTO IT ... who could wait that long to enjoy the latest Skylanders Swap Force Game. My daughter and I would be opening it up and enjoying it (after homework is over of course)

I treat everyday like it's Christmas. I'm ripping straight into it, just in case a zombie apocalypse happens tomorrow

I have a little boy who is Skylander crazy he talks about his friends having them all the time
so that's what he will be getting for Christmas , his little eyes will light up like the Christmas tree

Karlene said...

I'd be good and hide the game until 24/12 when Santa would place it under the tree.

Christmas Day is what I look forward to all year, I mean my kids look forward to all year!!!!!!! I love watching their faces when they finally wait and appreciate receiving something they have behaved for. We will definitely be waiting for Christmas Day although hubby will find it hard!!!!

I can't decide which console to get my almost 5yo for Christmas. He's seen skylanders about and thinks they look cool but is a huge fan of Minecraft which is only on Xbox I think. I know I'm too late to enter the competition but do you recommend the Xbox over the Wii? I'm so torn as to which to get...
Thanks, V.

Maxabella said...

Darn, I got here too late! Max loves Skylanders and would give his left arm for this pack (the right arm is needed to play the game!!)!. x

Bronnie Marquardt said...

Okay Vanessa Beattie, my kids say don't get xbox. Playstation 3 is great and minecraft is coming out soon. And as for consoles, it depends on your child's likes. If you want to explain your child's likes and send to me, we will give you some advice. Feel free to email me or message me and we will help from several kids' perspectives.
Sorry you got here too late Maxabella!
And thanks to everyone.
You know I would give you ALL one if I could!
